I've loved being part of Inge Thomson's Da Fishing Hands project over the past couple of years; really looking forward to playing her excellent music again this Saturday 9th April at the Lemon Tree, Aberdeen. Da Fishing Hands is a musical and cultural project written and devised by Inge Thomson featuring lyrics by Lise Sinclair. This film is a short document following the debut performance on Fair isle of Da fishing Hands by Inge and her band in May 2014. The film features 3 songs from the new album Da Fishing Hands. This film and project were made possible by support from Cape Farewell and Creative Scotland, and are dedicated to the memory of Lise Sinclair.
